Greetings! My name is Maisha Najuma Aza. My name means, "A Powerful Life Abounding in Joy"!

I am a woman of many talents and one calling - to assist people in their journey of self-discovery, self-healing and transformation.

I accomplish this in a variety of ways. I am an ordained Shamanic high priestess, spiritual life coach, body love coach, and a certified Shamanic Reiki II practitioner, with an additional certification in massage therapy and a masters degree in clinical social work.

I have been a healer and body worker for over 14 years; and have worked in a variety of settings; such as veterinary clinics, offices, social service centers, hospitals and even on the road as a long haul truck driver. I am a body-positive, sex-positive, social activist, who is keenly aware of the ways that race, class, gender, ability, size, color, and sexual orientation affect the ways that bodies are perceived. As a writer, spoken word artist and former burlesque and draglesque performer, I embrace my social activism through artistic action. I like to infuse fun, spirituality and sensual creativity into my educational workshops and individual/couple coaching sessions. I give back to my community by sharing what I've learned.

I am a vivacious, free spirit, known for my sensuality, infectious smile, and warm hugs. I enjoy stimulating conversations, spending time in nature, moving my body, singing sacred songs, being super silly, and taking impromptu road trips.
