I am a mom of two beautiful, amazing girls and I have a partner who has brought me great happiness for 16 years. I'm also currently a PhD student. These are the most important roles I play on life. I'm researching the identity formation for biracial students in US schools. It is my goal to contribute to the literature of biracial identity formation but more importantly, I want to help change the way the school system understands its role in helping children form their identities.
