I am a student and psychologist currently living in San Jose, CA.

I have completed my Masters in Applied Psychology with Specialisation in Clinical Psychology from India. Henceforth, I had been working as a Psychologist in Children First Mental Health Institute Private Ltd, in New Delhi for two years.

I have always taken a keen interest in child and adolescent mental health. Over the three years in the field of psychology and practice, I was able to solidify my theoretical orientations and my affiliation with varying schools of thought. My Master's training was in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and with practice, I adopted my skills into Narrative Therapy (NT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Also, I respect and look upto the core principles of Client Centered Therapy (Carl Rogers).

Over the last few years of practice, I have come to acknowledge and respect every client as being unique. A particular approach/skill in therapy may work for one, but not for everyone. With the help of supervision in my practice, I now believe in modifying and tailoring my therapeutic stance for each individual client. Therefore, I have come to believe in the potentiality of having an eclectic therapeutic approach.

I have training in administering and scoring the following standardised tests:
-Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC - IV)
-Wechsler's Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS - III)
-Wechsler Individual Acheievement Test (WIAT - II)
-Woodcock Johnson (WJ - III)
-Test of Written Language (TOWL)
-Developmental Neuropsychological Assessment (NEPSY)
-Conners Adult ADHD Rating Scale (CAARS)

I also enjoy reading, crochet, painting and craft.
