Majesty Perkins

I was born and raised in the Bronx and I am currently a Social Work Intern at John Jay College, City University of New York (CUNY). I am a graduate of Lehman College, CUNY. I worked as a counselor and interventionist at Oasis Children Services for over five years.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In addition to the master's program, I work with youth at Graham Windham, a social service agency dedicated to supporting youth in foster care who have challenging behavioral and medical conditions.

I am interested in working with adolescents in the public school system. My goal is to assist with restructuring school systems for underrepresented students in urban communities in order to promote achievement and success.
