Majid Hosseini

To my fellow Grad Students,

My name is Majid Hosseini, I am studying PhD in Chemical and Biological engineering.

I have started working with GSS from July 2008 as event assistant. In December 2008, I was hired as sports coordinator. I organized several fun events with the support of VP services such as: two bowling night, soccer and softball leagues, ski trip to whistler, and hiking trip to Bowen Island.
I am currently working as GSS AVP services.
I am running for GSS Vice-President, services. I need your support and vote to obtain this position. If I got elected by your votes I will do my best to push following goals:
- Sports events
- Entertaining events
- Promoting cultural events
- Academic and social workshops
- Grad magazine

My experience:
-I am a professional programmer; I have two years of experience working with a company for designing database and accounting software.
- I have been working as sports coordinator and AVP services for more than two years and I am completely familiar with the structure of GSS and organizing big events.
