Indianapolis native, Michael Norman Olson, is an award-winning designer, artist and educator. Having offered private tutoring in fine art since the latter years of high school, art education has long been closely aligned with his general interests. In 2004, he joined the faculty at the Herron School of Art and Design in an adjunct capacity—quickly awarded the position of Lecturer and teaching art and design for a total of six years. In 2008, Michael joined the faculty at the Indianapolis Art Center and served as an instructor for the Computer Arts Day Camp (Digital Imaging, Web Design, and Video Production) for children as well as offering digital arts courses for adults.

In addition to teaching, Michael has worked as a designer, illustrator and consultant through his own practice, for clients directly and in tandem with agencies since 1991. His designs have garnered gold and silver ADDYs and ADCI "Best of Show" awards with recent work focusing on assisting non-profits, local artists, and entrepreneurs.
