Mako Medical is a full-service medical laboratory headquartered in Raleigh, NC. Working with physicians and patients, Mako Medical provides low-cost test services, with results delivered through a proprietary web portal.

Since being established, the company has featured a high degree of test accuracy and quick turnaround times. With its cost-effective solutions, Mako has also looked to continuously innovate. As such, it remains dedicated to hiring scientists and medical professionals from the top of their fields while investing heavily in state of the art equipment.

Throughout this time, the NC-based firm has aimed to give back to the communities it operates in. Mako Medical’s commitment to giving back has led it to develop a mascot that helps bring joy to families in need. Named Mikey, the mascot spends time visiting hospitals where it entertains children.

Mako has also donated to over 400 charities across the country, with its employees volunteering regularly. Most recently, the company donated 20,000 COVID-19 test kits to the North Carolina Medical Society, which were then distributed to vulnerable populations.
