• Provide the technical leadership for deployment aspects of its software products covering ease of deployment, system performance, availability, and application security.
• Develop, evolve, document and communicate system software architectures and designs
• Work with software engineering teams to ensure the design of new capabilities, and enhancements to existing capabilities meet the deployment objectives for the product and adhere to technology and system architectural guidelines
• Make sure the right modeling is being done; ensure that performance and scalability metrics are going to be met
• Recognize potential reuse in the application by observing and understanding the broader system environment, creating the component design and having knowledge of other applications in the organization
• Assist in implementation of complex software
• Assess the feasibility of incorporating new technologies in product designs
• Assess complexity and effort in implementing new products capabilities and features
• Assist engineering teams in diagnosing complex system problems
