I am Makungu Masangu, a third year Bachelor of Education student majoring in English and Addressing Neurodevelopmental learning challenges at the University of Johannesburg. I love language and literature studies as they have exposed worlds once foreign to me. Being able to analyse written and visual texts is a great joy for me. I have a great passion for teaching and learning. I love sharing my knowledge with people while I also learn from them. I do rowing as a hobby, and I have been given the honour to be the UJ rowing women’s captain for the 2021-2022 season. I am also a part time U15 rowing coach at a high school close by. I enjoy being outside and exploring nature and different cafés as I am a coffee lover.
