Happy Mankwane Malapane is a third year student at the university of Johannesburg and my field of study is education majoring in mathematics and life sciences. she values education and she has joined a group in her local community which is still developing and it is called Tholulwazi and basically what they are doing is to motivate township pupils to apply at universities as early as possible and they inform pupils who are in Grade 9, 10,11 and 12 the basic information they require to get university entrance. Happy was one of the top ten learners in her school from grade 10 to grade 12, she was also awarded a certificate for debating and she has successfully attended the ABASA camp of excellence in 2011. during her leisure time she likes reading books and one of her favorite book is cross and noughts because it has taught her the significance of June 16 in South Africa.
