Malcolm Marco

Malcolm S. Marco is an event-driven investor and operator focused on merger arbitrage and special situations as a partner of Art x Engineering Fund Mgmt. L.P.

His finance career began within Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Investment Banking division before joining Mason Capital Management in 2016. There, he developed his hard-catalyst approach under the firm’s founding principals and a senior advisor regarded as a pioneer of the event-driven hedge fund industry.

In 2019, Malcolm joined T. Rowe Price to design, build and operate the equity event-driven investment process within the newly formed liquid alternatives platform, refining his expertise in research, portfolio construction and risk management within a volatility-constrained framework.

Today, he integrates his unique breadth of experience, with rigorous legal and fundamental research when deploying capital into events often involving changes in corporate structure or control.

Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.
