Hello, my name is Maria. I am a 19-year-old college student. I am a double major student at Valdosta State University. My majors are Bachelor in Fine Arts-Art and Bachelor of Art-Spanish Language and Culture. I have a younger brother and sister, two dogs, one ferret, and two turtles. My life consists of my family and art. I cannot draw a line in between because both, my family and my art, are the most important things in my life.
Art is my passion. Ever since I was little I always preferred to express myself through my artwork rather than talking. Everything I know, I learned it through experience and high school. I never went to an art school, but I managed to be in an art classroom every year of high school. I don't have a stable jon but on my free time I do commission drawings. Drawing has always been my passion but ever since I started taking art classes at a college level, I find other types of art and mediums very interesting. I enjoy photography and animation and hope one day I can become a talented photographer and animator.
I came to the United States from Mexico when I was 10 years old. I had just started 6th grade. Since my entire family works in construction, ever since I came I've been moving from one place to another. I would move to a different city about every two years. I've lived in Clarksville, TN; Nashville, TN; Southaven, MS; Thomasville, GA; and I'm currently living in Valdosta, GA. The shortest amount of time I’ve stayed in a place is 2 weeks, which I spent in Clarksville, TN. I went to school there for exactly two weeks then I moved to Nashville, TN in which I spent 2 years. After graduating from college, I plan on getting my masters in California and have a stable life there.
