MaLinda Alizabeth
Hello! Hi! It's me! MaLinda.
San Diego native, lover of arts, crafts and old things. And burritos.
I spend my free time with the most amazing man I know, and our 3 pups, relaxing in America's Finest City. Cooking and/or eating new and exciting meals, garden-making, long-distance-running, treasure-hunting, bike-riding, Jeopardy-watching, concert-going, adventure-seeking, and beer-tasting, among other things.
I make a living at a law firm by day, while at night, I dream of wedding planning, homemaking, business owning, lottery winning and having a super fit body. I'm only temporarily satisfied with how I advance in life, and will be eternally seeking self-improvement. I'm always on the hunt for a better me. I don't think that's a bad thing, tho.
Since I'm sure you really want to know: I love humanity, culture, art, religion, reading, spirituality, peace, intellect, sophistication, goofiness, laughter, real people...history. I love yoga...and the feeling you get after a great workout. I sing and dance in traffic, and while I'm out for a run. I also like to look inside people's houses at night when I go by. Not in a creepy way. I'm just fascinated by all the different families, living different lives, so close to one another...and I also like to see how people decorate.
I love getting creative. Painting, drawing, scrap-booking, macrame, photography, re-arranging my house. I get spurts and there's no stopping it. And I like to write...and edit. I kinda wanna be an editor, actually. But then again, I kinda wanna be a lot of things. ;)
So this is my little spot on the interwebs...thanks so much for stopping by! Here are a few simple quotes to take with you:
"Be the change you wish to see in the world." ~Unknown (...and no, it is NOT Ghandi's quote...although everyone says it is, and it does sound appropriate...it's still not him).
"Live life, be nice, laugh often, work hard, be smart, have goals, stay active, do what you love, without being a menace to society..." ~Me
“Life is an eternal quest about knowing oneself. It’s time to challenge yourself, to rediscover your hidden traits, talents, and tendencies. Several inconvenient questions, which you have swept under the carpet, might resurface.” ~Unknown
