I am an anthropologist researching borders, mobility and citizenship in South Asia. Photographs from my fieldwork along the India-Bangladesh border have been exhibited in Amsterdam, Berlin, Bonn, Chaing Mai, Gottingen, Heidelburg and Munich. I have recently completed "Life Cycle" an ethnographic documentary that pays tribute to the bicycle in uncertain times, and its relationship to rapidly changing Indian cities.
