Hi, I’m Maliq Miller, a Public Relations and Fashion Styling student at Clark Atlanta University, where I’m earning my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Fashion Styling. I’m passionate about connecting storytelling, image, and community to build brands that inspire and influence.
As the Communications Liaison for PRSSA at CAU, I manage digital outreach and create promotional content that strengthens our organization’s visibility. Beyond campus, I serve as a PR and Communications Intern with Music Memory Lane, where I have written press releases distributed to multiple media outlets, helped plan community health programs, and designed marketing materials that boosted local engagement.
My professional experience also includes working in retail operations and styling at Saks OFF 5TH and Nordstrom Rack, where I gained hands-on experience with visual merchandising, client relations, and sales performance. These experiences continue to shape my eye for design, presentation, and the power of first impressions.
Outside of my work, I take pride in being a communicator who values collaboration, creativity, and consistency. My long-term goal is to work in entertainment or fashion public relations, where I can merge media strategy with cultural storytelling.
