Lucky enough to be born into a large, close family in London, I grew up in Stepney Green and later Essex. Self employed from a young age, until I came to Mallorca in 2010 I had a recruitment business with my best friend. We threw the towel in in 2010 when the recession and the red tape stopped it being fun... and thank goodness we did.

I´m a qualified garden designer but don´t exploit it really. I have done a few things since retiring from the rat race. Spent one season tour guiding on a coach which was a laugh and cooked for a superyacht for one season which was really hard work and wasn´t a laugh. I still bake cakes for people when asked. I love cooking.
