Mallorie Leinenger

I am a PhD Candidate in Experimental (Cognitive) Psychology at the University of California, San Diego working in the Rayner Eyetracking Lab. My research uses eye tracking to measure the time course of various cognitive processes primarily during reading, but also during other visual perception tasks. Specifically, in my two main areas of research in reading, I investigate the role of phonological coding during reading and the cues readers use to resolve ambiguities in text. In addition, I investigate language processing in deaf and bilingual individuals to determine how these processes differ across diverse populations with different language backgrounds.
