Mallory Patorno

Hello, my name is Mallory Patorno, and I am a 22 year old Public Relations student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and am also pursuing a minor in Business Administration.

I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Northshore High School in Slidell, Louisiana in 2013.

I decided to pursue a career in Public Relations after my Theta Phi Alpha sorority sisters elected me to be the PR and Marketing Chair for the chapter in Spring 2014. After serving the position for less than a month, I knew that I had found my calling. A year long internship with the Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce confirmed this, and I could not be happier.

My interests include digital editing, writing, hiking and spending time outdoors, analyzing current events, and exercising, as well as watching Netflix with my dog, Archer. I hope to have an established career in Public Relations within the next 10 years, after attending graduate school in the field.
