Mamie Shannon

I'm a new mother, a lover of horses and anything to do with nature and the outdoors, a reader, a traveler, a Carhop at Bumpers Drive-In, and a Student. I am NOT a perfectionist, even remotly outgoing, organized, or well-rested (new mother, remember... =). My ultimate goal is to become a high-school history teacher who goes on Archaeological digs durring the summer. Archaeology was my first love, but after having my son, a carreer in it just isn't practical. I was an assistant teacher in the seventh grade for several years, and absolutly loved it, so I figure teaching what I love to high-schoolers will be the next best thing to doing it. =)
