Malena Amusa is on a mission to supply game-changer companies the amazing media needed to continually soar.
Based in New York City, Amusa founded Amusa Media in 2013 to help start-ups and big-dollar companies drive bold business through daring media, pr, marketing and events.
She is also the lead utilities writer for the premier UtilityDive.com based in D.C. An international reporter, Amusa has worked for elite media outlets including the Mail & Guardian in South Africa, the St. Louis American, Forefront Magazine in Chicago, the Boston Globe, and Women's eNews in New York.
Her drive to solve global-scale problems led her to earn a bachelor's and master's in Journalism from Northwestern University and Columbia University -- and soon after, travel to India to conduct business journalism for Delhi's Economic Times newspaper -- and later, teach business communications in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa
Amusa is also a groundbreaking event producer, dancer, and teacher. In 2011, she launched an African dance company and continues to expand her network of active journalists, business starters, and creative producers to do nothing other than positively and powerfully change the world.
