man2man leadership collective
Connection Group in Atlanta, Georgia
"We assemble and empower ethical, spiritualy formed, business and ministry leaders to Connect with others intentionaly,Build authentic Relationships and Advance The Kingdom Of God."
There is an urgent need for men to be connected with God and with each other, but there seems to be constant opposition. We're busy, and busyness distracts. Too much of our lives are being lived seperated and disconnected. There needs to be a new, purpose-built way of bringing connection and relationship into our Monday-through-Saturday living.
We want to bring leaders together to share on the topics of life, ministry and business in an atmosphere void of judgement or criticism.A place not only to share and learn concepts, but to gain wisdom, strength and encouragment while in the company of others who can relate. Just so were clear, this is not some new ministry launch or just another men's group looking to have pancakes, bbq and bowling once a month! No Sir, this cause is greater than that.We believe that this clarion call for men in leadership has a greater purpose attached to it.Check the statistics, men are giving in to the pressure of their surrounding challenges, committing suicide, leaving their families and ministries at an alarming rate! As King David has stated in1Samuel 17:29,”Is there not a cause?”
“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning;and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels."Provb 1:5
We have seen these issuess repeated throughout the gernerations, the lack of accountability, hidden unresolved issues and the abscence of a trusted voice or dependable support system.
It is unfortunate, but we live in a culture that praises it's leaders as if they were superheroes, but that same culture subsequently fails to extend the grace that is so desperately needed once discovered that there beloved superheroe was really just plain ole Clark Kent all along.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Ecclesiasties 4:9-10”
After seeing this for so many years and having experienced it myself,I believe to encourage, exhort and gather leaders together is a great part of my Kingdom purpose. We are far greater together than we could ever be apart!
In His Grace,
Patrick A. Harrison
