Manas Jain

Born and brought up in Bhopal, I completed my BTech from one of the most prestigious colleges in India, IIT Roorkee. I am passionate about working in an industry which impacts everybody’s lives not on a daily basis but at crucial times. I have been working in the R&D center of 3M, commercializing products in the surgical consumable space for the Indian healthcare market for past 4 years now. At 3M, I have worked in and with different functions such as product development, manufacturing, sourcing and marketing.
Unlike “that geek from the lab”, my friends describe me as a jovial, fun-loving and outgoing person who can gel well in all kinds of group. I live to eat which is why I love cooking as well. Since childhood, I had a knack to experiment with different cuisines/dishes and this trait has certainly carried on to my work in the lab. With a deep interest in rock music and a special inclination for punk, alternative and thrash metal, I have been playing drums for more than 3 years now. I have performed in various small shows in and around Bangalore. An avid formula-1 fan, I closely follow all the technological advancements in the sport.
