I am Manaswita and this website is a collection of my art.

Looking back, I wasn't always so good. I remember in school, I would always flunk my arts and crafts paper and lose my rank in the class. In the parent's meet my teachers would tell my parents that while I was good at my studies, my art teachers were fed up with me and failed me incessantly, and each time I would request them to please grant me pass marks so that I can secure a rank in the class. I never thought this was important, art wasn't going to be my bread and butter after all, and I was a eight pointer in all my other subjects. Yet, I belive it did put a dent on my ego, having to request my art teachers to grant me passing grades.

It happened once, that I had to share my seat with a girl in my class who used to get the maximum grades in arts in the class. I was intrigued, why is it that she can and I cannot. I started copying her, starting from the same pencils, erasers to pencil boxes as well but I didn't suceed. Then finallyit dawned on me one day, the keywork was patience and the keeness to learn. After that it was easy.

The first breakthrough came in my science class, when I drew a microscope. My teachers almost got it signed from my parents to make sure me and no one else drew that. And that was just the beginning.

I sketched and painted my way to college, and I was decently good...till I met Db. He persued me to take some form of training so that I can get better and better.

And when I look at my work now, I must say I like what I see. And I daresay I am proud of what I have become.
