Pioneer — India's First Online CBAT Platform

Built India's first Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) preparation platform in 2016 — before RDSO's own digital rollout. SmartOnlineExam was the only platform ready when RDSO shifted Railway exams to computer-based format.

11+ Years CBAT Domain Expert

Continuous active expertise in Railway Psycho Test preparation since April 2014. Guided 2,00,000+ students to 17,500+ verified Railway selections across ALP, NTPC SM, Metro, and GDCE — with a track record spanning over a decade.

Mandeep Choudhary is an Indian Army Veteran, educator, and entrepreneur — best known as the founder of SmartOnlineExam, India's first and largest online Railway Psycho Test (CBAT) preparation platform.

After serving in the Indian Army, Mandeep identified a critical gap in Railway exam preparation: candidates appearing for the Railway Psycho Test — formally known as the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), conducted by RDSO — had no reliable online preparation resource. Most coaching was offline, expensive, and gave candidates no objective feedback on their likely RDSO T-Score.

In April 2014, he launched SmartOnlineExam to solve this. By 2016, he had built India's first dedicated online CBAT platform — complete with RDSO-pattern tests, a proprietary T-Score calculation engine using the official RDSO formula, and battery-wise analysis for all five CBAT components: Memory, Following Directions, Depth Perception, Concentration, and Perceptual Speed.

When RDSO officially shifted to computer-based delivery for RRB ALP recruitment, SmartOnlineExam was already the only platform in India where candidates could practise on a replica interface, see their T-Score, and know exactly which battery needed improvement — not just raw marks, but the actual qualifying metric.

Over 11 years, Mandeep's platform has guided more than 2,00,000 students and delivered 17,500+ verified Railway selections — including 10,000+ RRB ALP, 5,000+ NTPC Station Master/ASM, 2,500+ Metro Rail, and hundreds of GDCE and DFCCIL candidates. SmartOnlineExam now hosts 1,000+ mock tests across six exam categories, fully bilingual in Hindi and English, available via web and Android app.

Mandeep's approach — Army-discipline precision, research-based content, and transparent T-Score feedback — continues to distinguish SmartOnlineExam from every competitor in a space he helped create.
