I have recently moved to New York City to pursue my dream of becoming an editor for an entertainment magazine.

I've wanted to be a journalist as long as I can remember. Starting with creating a magazine for fun the summer before high school. I joined the school paper in high school and college. I love entertainment and that's what drew me to the arts and entertainment editor position. After graduation I created a blog about movies, TV shows, tennis and ice-skating. I wanted all of my passions in one place. When I started my master's program, my professor told me I should make my blog more niche. I decided to do a blog about TV shows, Primetime Addiction. I grew the blog from scratch and it now grows about 17% a month.

For my master's dissertation I created a magazine about ice-skating. Part of the assignment was to fill a gap in the market and there are no skating magazines in England, even though there are a lot of skaters through out the country.

As well as a magazine and blogs, I have created newsletters for the music department and the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa, and an art gallery in England, Art Evolution. I am maintaining the newsletter for Art Evolution remotely and I maintained the College of Arts and Letters' newsletter for the time that I worked in the office.

I am enjoying my new advanture and looking forward to starting my career.
