Allison started her career in music writing for MTV/VH1. Shaw also founded Hyperactive Music Magazine which was in over 1200 locations nationally. She also started Hyperactive Conference and Music Festival with 200 bands and 60 speakers annually, and was the executive director for Santa Fe Muzik festival with over 65k in attendance over 3 days.

Shaw was the Director Of Live Events for Rachael Ray/Watch Entertainment and Operations Manager for Listen Records/Sony the label owned by Rachael Ray. Co-creator and Event Producer and talent booker and co-host emcee for Rachael Ray at festivals like the highly touted Feedback Festival during SXSW

Allison is co-founder of The Quantum Collective whose annual event is held at the flagship Whole Foods in Austin during SXSW.

Allison is currently the head of partnerships for Muzooka, which manages digital artist assets across multiple platforms and has streamlined set list reporting.

She is also the head of booking at Moogfest held in Durham North Carolina.

Shaw was The Director Of Brand Development For Famed Hip Hop band Public Enemy.

Allison produced Los Angeles's first ever all solar powered music festival with all the proceeds going to kids with cancer.

Shaw is also on the Board of Directors for Non Profit Music Charity Sweet Relief.
