When I was young I had many interests ranging from law to astrophysics and filmmaking to engineering. As I grew into a young adult, I developed a passion for the entertainment industry. In the beginning, I adopted the typical film industry persona: "What I really want to do is direct!" However, as I plunged deeper into the entertainment business, I rediscovered my love for the law.

As I ended my high school career at Pinkerton Academy, I was heavily involved in the video production center. During my junior and senior years I produced and directed several shows, as well as some Public Service Announcements for local non-profit groups. My successes lead me to choose a film school in Central Florida. I was attracted to Full Sail University because the school focuses on practical applications instead of just theories.

After school, I moved back to the New England area and began freelancing on commercials and for Boston based television stations. I was hired for a temporary full time position at a New Hampshire station during the 2004 presidential primary. After the primary, I was brought in permanently as videographer. In three years at the station I worked my way up to key videographer and producer.

In 2006, I decided to move on from television to begin a career in the film industry. My first job was in the catering department for a Disney movie called The Game Plan. The movie featured thousands of extras, which necessitates a large crew of Assistant Directors and Production Assistants to manage them. After a couple weeks, the catering manager put me in charge of the extras catering tent. He loved my hard work, and knew that I wanted to be moved to the production department. He pushed me onto the assistant directors in the production department because he felt not rewarding my hard work would be "bad karma."

I worked for five years as a production assistant on movies, mostly around the Boston area. In 2008, I worked in the production office for a small independent movie called The Last Harbor. One of my responsibilities was writing contracts for the actors that we hired. The following year, I worked in a production office for two Sony movies: Grown-Ups and The Social Network. During that time, I worked with the legal team at Sony to develop contracts for projects I was working on during the production of the shows.
