Dedicated to helping students achieve academic success, Dr. Manuel Gerton provides services aimed at helping students reach their goals in college and beyond. In his work providing psychoeducational assessments and college consulting services at College Assessment and Planning in Washington, D.C., Dr. Manuel Gerton draws on his many years of experience as a professor, college administrator, college consultant and independent practitioner.
Dr. Manuel Gerton provides thorough evaluations to students who are challenged by learning disabilities and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) in support of their requests for academic accommodations. In order to help level the playing field, reports are generated summarizing relevant history and test results, which can then be forwarded to appropriate testing agencies or college support services.
Dr. Manuel Gerton's college consulting services provide comprehensive plans for students and their families. After generating a profile of the student's strengths and goals, individualized objectives are outlined. Ongoing support and guidance are provided to help students throughout the application process. Dr. Gerton is a member of a number of professional organizations, allowing him to keep up to date on recent developments in his field.
