Dr. Manolis G. Manolakakis is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is fellowship trained in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists and a member
of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons.
Dr. Manolakakis serves on a national committee for the new oral & maxillofacial surgeon. He also is chairman of the continuing education program for the NJ Society of Oral
& Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is the co-director of Facial Cosmetic Surgery at Cooper University Hospital, Department of Surgery, Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and is intimately involved in the training of Temple University Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residents. He is also an attending surgeon at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, where he trains
Oral Maxillofacial Surgery residents in complex facial trauma and reconstructive procedures.
Currently Dr. Manolakakis is a member of the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.
Dr. Manolakakis’ unique training in dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, and advanced fellowship-training in facial cosmetic surgery provides him with the ability to evaluate and treat the face in a comprehensive fashion.
