Owyn Manson

Hello everyone! As you can see my name is Owyn Manson! Im 20 years-old and was born in Germantown, MD but moved to Silver Spring, MD when I was about 7. I current play soccer at Howard University where I am a junior and major in Public Relations and minor in Sports Management. Soccer isn't the only sport I have played. All my life, i have been an phenomenal athlete. I started playing soccer when i was really young and then moved on to basketball. I also swam for my local club team and ran track for my high school to keep in shape during my off season of soccer. Playing all four sports was the best thing I did growing up. It allowed me to experience a lot of different things and meet a lot of great people. But soccer was my first love and after playing it for more than half of my life, I decided to use to my advantage and get an education at a higher level.

But besides sports, I also have a creative side of me. I love to write poetry and short stories. I have a wild imagination and I use it as stress reliever. I also love to draw and paint. I actually had some of my art work put in my high school art gallery when I was a senior at Bethesda Chevy Chase Highschool in Bethesda, MD. Going to BCC provided me with a lot of opportunities. If i didn't play for their soccer team, I probably wouldn't have gotten the chance to play at a D1 level college team.

I am the daughter of Chauncey Manson III and Yvonne Ward-Manson and the sister of Chauncey Manson IV

I am very blessed to have gotten this far in my life and want to thank my family and friends for getting me here. I hope to be able to have many more fantastic experiences.
