Mansoor Ansari earned his B.A. from York University in Toronto, Canada. He worked as an analyst in the Ministry of Finance with the government of Ontario before attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. After earning his J.D., Ansari accepted a position with a large bankruptcy law firm in Chicago. His caseload there involved secured debt, unsecured debt, Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, tax-debt discharge, and tax-debt restructuring. Mansoor Ansari later went on to earn his LL.M. (Master of Laws in Taxes) from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.

Mansoor Ansari is an active member of the American Bar Association, Tax Controversy Professionals, International Tax Professionals, and the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. He has been interviewed on ABC Action News and WCAR Radio regarding issues relating to government and tax procedure. In his free time, Ansari enjoys running, canoeing, and skydiving. He also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the Ronald McDonald House in Tampa Bay.
