Manuela has been in Seattle for many years but she is still a Spaniard at heart. She still loves tapas, aceitunas and albariño.
She was working at Cisco for the past 10+ years in different roles. Her last role was a Technical Program Manager Lead for Localization. She was responsible for managing the localization of Mobile and Desktop Collaboration Applications with multiple systems releases a year.
After a long stint in the technology and software development industry she decided it was time for a change, and recently left her job at Cisco.
Manuela has experience in traditional waterfall as well as Agile frameworks. Her industry certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP) as well as the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner, among others.
Manuela has experience working simultaneously with different geo-distributed project teams.
She has a really strong track record of successful global product releases. After years of managing teams and projects focusing on localization, she wants to utilize the skills she has in a broader project management context. She wants her next opportunity to be in a company who is looking for somebody that will not only get the job done but also has a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and is not adverse to change.
