Manuel Bronstein

Manuel is currently Sr. Director of Product at Zynga where he leads the product team for FarmVille Before joining Zynga, Manuel was Director of Social Interactive Entertainment at Xbox LIVE, leading strategy, portfolio and business management for the Video & Music business, Applications, and New Interactive Entertainment Experiences for Xbox, including Netflix, LastFM, Facebook, Twitter and ESPN Prior to this role Bronstein launched “1 vs 100” on Xbox LIVE. As the founding leader of Xbox LIVE Primetime he envisioned, pitched, secured funding and built a team to create the first ever programmatic, massively concurrent online game, service and platform on a videogame console. “1 vs 100”, based on Endemol’s popular TV game show, was the first of this breed of new games to feature a live host, real prizes and daily fresh content. The game launched in June 2009 in US, Canada, UK, FR and DE to strong and positive press and consumer reviews, exceeding key performance metrics Manuel’s Microsoft career started as a product planner on Xbox 360 prior to the launch of the console. He later led the Xbox Incubation Team and served as a liaison between the Xbox organization and the startup and venture capital community. Over his career at Microsoft, Bronstein has contributed to more than 5 patent submissions (one already granted) Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Manuel started his professional career at one of the pioneering web development companies in Venezuela. He later worked in the marketing team at Procter & Gamble before joining Tokenzone, Inc. as Director of Product Management. Manuel received a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela and an MBA from U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business, where he worked on projects for AOL Music and Hewlett Packard in India. He currently resides in Palo Alto with his wife and two sons.
