Hi, I'm currently living with my wife Martina and my two sons Jonas and Simon in Ellen (Niederzier, Germany), a small village between Cologne and Aachen.

I have studied Biology with a focus on Neuroscience, Zoology, Bionics and Biomedical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University from 2005 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013 I graduated in neuroscience and acquired the degree of a natural science doctorate Doctor rerum naturalium (Dr.rer.nat.). I am currently working as a Scientific Research Innovation & Development Manager and Principal Investigatorat the Cécile and Oskar Vogt Institute of Brain Research (University Hospital Düsseldorf) and as a guest scientist at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-1, Research Centre Jülich).

I like to spend time on photography, love trail running and mountain biking. Moreover, I am interested in any kind of motorsport.
