Manufactured Culture is an online retail store operating from London UK (our storage space is located in its Battersea) but our aim is to make contemporary home accessories made and designed in CEE countures and expressing those available to the whole world, hence unlimited shipping - our goal is to let the whole world know about the design traditions and manufacturing techniques that originated, at times, way back in the countres of Central and Eastern Europe.

What happened to them, after? Due to political and historical reasons - the world wars and subsequent totalitarian domination of USSR - trade between those countries, such as Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and so on, was hindered. Therefore, a lot of unique objects, such as glassware, ceramics, rugs and architextiels, in short, interior decoration objects of unique aesthetical and artistic value, were overlooked by the experts and customers interested in such a field.

Thus we appear - Manufactured Culture - we operate on a large-scale network of contemporary home accessories providers - designers, studios, manufacturers and brands - bringing together the most fresh and exciting results of work of CEE countries based designers and manufacturers.
