Manuel Quieta Bravo

Consultant, DTP, and Project coordinator in Rosario, Argentina

I have been working in Localization industry for about 25 years. The first 10 and last five years as DTP. In between I worked as Localization lead going from a junior to a senior position. All my working experience was built across several different companies which were based on Rosario, New York, Dublin and Brno. This has given me flexibility to quickly adapt and adjust to new roles, processes, tools, working environments, cultures and working with team across the globe. Because my DTP background people trusted me to manage large and complex multilingual projects.

As localization is constantly evolving along with normal task I need also to define new process for new type of projects for translation and for DTP stages, define QA strategies, write documentation on processes, train my team to adapt to new things.

I would say that one of my strong skills is to solve issues and I usually support not my team but others in considering alternative approaches, using different resources, choosing other tools or directing to someone in the company that has the skills to solve it.
