Manu was born on the island known as Borikén which means "Land of the Most High" or alternatively, "Burukenas’ (river crabs) Island". From childhood he was attracted to esotericism, spirituality, astrology, magic, the paranormal, and oracles. During his teenage years he entered the Christian world as a preacher, occupying important positions within the congregation, and being a minister one of them. After 13 years of service in the ministry, Manu decided to find the answers on his own.

His first book of Tarot cards was given to him by his father. His first deck was the Marseille and the second was the Rider-Waite, which he still uses in his readings. Manu added the Orishas Tarot deck (c. 2005) followed by the Catholic Church Saints deck (c. 2007) and finally he added the Astrology Tarot Card deck (c. 2011) to complete his unique style of blending multiple decks. Some tarot cards have reference to the Kabbalah hence he has decided to start studying Biblical Hebrew meanwhile he keeps reading and studying astrology on his spare time.

How did Manu make it to YouTube? During a visit to a Babalawo (Lucumi high priest) in 2011, the Babalawo stopped the reading to reproach him, asking Manu why he had stopped reading tarot cards because, according to the Babalawo’s oracle, Manu was good at it. In October of 2011, the name Manu Tarot was created , and there began his YouTube publications.

Manu Tarot also works with essential oils, chakras, iridology and acupuncture. Has a community style acupuncture group meeting the first saturday of each month and offers private sessions every day of the week. He also write for The Planetary Gazette a community magazine.
