Mapelo Melita Makola

I reside in Johannesburg, South Africa .I chose to pursue a career in teaching because I enjoy having a positive impact on people's lives. I believe that education is the mother of all professions and it is through the knowledge imparted that the learners can be able to better their lives and build careers. My goal is to ensure that the learners have fun while learning in the classroom. Because learners may contribute, I favor learner-centered instruction over passive instruction. I have tutored first-years of the University of Johannesburg. I am an outgoing and social person who does not find it difficult to cope in large crowds of people. I am also good at maintaining healthy relationships therefore my colleagues would enjoy working with me. I follow local and international politics as I like to be informed about things that concern me and my future. A fun titbit about myself that not many people know is that I write in my spare time and have a book in progress. I am not afraid of change, therefore if necessary, I am willing to relocate.
