The average age of journalists in South Africa is now 28. I represent the very small crop of journalists who reported on the presidency of Nelson Mandela , Thabo Mbeki as a reporter and editor and now the Jacob Zuma era as an Assignments editor. Over the past 15 years, I've been exposed to reporting for television news, I have worked as a senior producer for a daily radio news and current affairs show,I was part of a team that launched an international business channel (CNBCAFRICA) and I'm currently working as Head of Assignments for the only 24 hour channel in South Africa - eNCA.
