I am a PhD student in Latin American History at Emory University. My focus is the construction of ideas of space, nature, region, and territory in borderlands. Specifically, I look at the Patagonian Andes, which straddle Argentina and Chile. In doing so, I hope to shed light on our understading of local, regional, and national policies on the environment.
