Maplehurst Country Club is one of the finest golf courses located in the Western Appalachian region. The 18 -hole course is set on a hillside offering breathtaking views of the city of Frostburg, Maryland. It provides many unique challenges to the avid and occasional golfers alike.
Owned by the club members, this semi-private facility was opened in 1956. It was designed by Golf Course Architect James Gilmore Harrison, an associate of the world famous Donald Ross. Besides golf, Maplehurst offers a spacious clubhouse with The Maple Room Lounge where golfers can relax after a round of golf with daily food and beverage service. The second floor Clubhouse is dedicated to catering special events such as weddings, reunions, parties, dances, etc. This area accommodates up to 175 people.
