Mapula Loretha Leshabane

Student, Volunteer, and Hair Stylist in Gauteng Johannesburg

Hi, I am Leshabane Mapula Loretha, currently in my third year, pursuing a Bachelor of Education in the Senior and FET Phase with specializations in Sepedi and Physical Education at the great University of Johannesburg. As a class representative for my major (Sepedi 3B), I take pride in being a voice for my peers and contributing to the academic environment in a meaningful way.

Outside the academic setting, I am an active United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and UJ Community Engagement volunteer, driven by my deep commitment to helping others and giving back to the community. I believe that service and compassion are key to making a lasting impact. I am also a self-taught hair stylist, a skill I developed through creativity, resilience, and a desire for financial independence.

Coming from a humble background, I understand the value of hard work and perseverance. I firmly believe that education is one of the most powerful tools for change and success. My ultimate goal is to help change the world through education, empowering others just as I have been empowered.
