Maranda Ferguson

Greetings, I’m Maranda. I am a student at Morehead State University. I live off campus in an apartment but my home is Blaine, KY. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Middle Grades Education with English & Science components. I believe this ENG 390 course will allow me to further my knowledge for when I get in the field and start teaching reading and language arts. I also hope that I can acquire the skills needed to successfully make my way in the education field. Upon graduation I plan to start teaching as soon as a job becomes available. I would like to return home to Johnson County to teach but I am open to other options (moving).

I have a love for the outdoors and it is where I would spend all of my time if I could. Swimming and hiking are my two favorite outdoor activities. At home I am known as fish out of water because I swim all of the time. I am also a member of the church of Christ where I am a faithful member.

I love the summer months, but only when school is out. After that fall would have to be my favorite season. I guess you could call me basic because I love pumpkin anything, the fall foliage, and the fashion that is associated with the season.
