I am blessed to be married to my best friend and life partner and we have 4 children, 2 boys 2 gals who combined are the propellers in my life. Life has attempted to throw some pretty tough stuff my way and I must admit that I've had my moments of self doubt and sadness but I am reminded that the race is not for the swift but for the courageous who do not give up and boy I am one of those phenomenal women who relentlessly refuses to do so. In the end, it will not matter what worldly possessions I have gained or even how many people I knew, but how I lived my life. I strive to live with substance and care about things that really matter and not sweat the small stuff. I am strong minded and teach the same to my children in order for them to also be able to not sweat the small stuff. The mind is unequivocally a battlefield and for me, its important to tame thoughts that can lead to unfruitful behavior that inevitably cause a weak mind. I choose to be surrounded by like-minded individuals whom I can be REAL with and frank. I despise pretentiousness and refuse to be in its vicinity.
