I am passionate about food and music and making a difference in the lives of people I meet.

On the serious side, I have over 18 years of experience as a transportation and logistics attorney and as a commercial lawyer. I counseled senior management on international commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, maritime law, environmental issues and government relations. I have been a partner in two law firms: Hunter Maclean Exley & Dunn, in Savannah, Georgia and Williams Mullen in Norfolk, Virginia. I also served as vice president and general counsel to CMA CGM (America) LLC , The US division of the third largest container carrier in the world.

These days I have taken off the lawyer hat (or maybe it is put down the brief?) and I am a partner in a US Flag Shipping Company leading the commercial side of the business and learning daily from my partners who focus on the engineering.
