Marc Pinco

Born and raised on the squeeky clean streets of St Albert, "The DancUation", AKA Marc Pinco, started his musical and dance journey when he was 2, when he was given a tummy tickle by his Uncle. It was at this moment that Marc Pinco knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'.

He first became interested in the ballroom dance scene in 1994. In 2006, aged 14, his Mum and Dad bought him his first set of dance shoes. At the age of 17, he was already being touted as St Albert's answer to Dirty Dancing Patrick Swayze.

He did various warm up sets before the doors opened in clubs hosting major names such as Kevin Bacon, Usher (before his reality stint on the Voice), and many more. In 2011, he achieved his big break when he The DancUation realised he was big in the game. It was after this point when he started getting gigs at big events such as DanceSport Edmonton and Ricmond BC Dance Comp.
After receiving several offers, The DancUation joined DOM Dance Studio, who helped distribute his first internet dance-a-thon, 'Manic Marc' in 2012. Though the show wasn't watched by as many as he probably would have liked, The DancUation is a fighter and since 2011 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft.

Suffice to say, the ballroom dance scene should be expecting big things from The DancUation in 2012 and beyond.
