Marc Boom

Marc Boom is a Dutch photographer based in the Amsterdam area.

Everything is illuminated through the lens of photographer Marc. He takes his viewers on an imaginative and visual journey.

Boom’s photography influences range from the late Josef Sudek, who was known for the pictorial style and neo-romantic movement, to the organic and landscape work of the modern photographer, Gregory Crewdson.

When working in the fantastical style, Marc takes his viewers on a journey with medieval and gothic themes. The images he creates live between a dream and reality - filled with rich colours and delicate light.

Boom is passionate about connecting with the rhythm and soul of his subjects – “I am drawn to capturing intimate moments,” he says.
