Marc has performed many roles during his lifetime driven by a lifelong desire to improve the world in as many ways as possible. These roles range from being a Romanian Interpreter / Strategic Interrogator for Military Intelligence Europe during the 70’s to having a very hands on ministry during 80’s while simultaneously building one of the first software publishing companies. In 1984, under the auspices of Price Waterhouse, he created the World Bank accounting systems incorporating internationalized, multi-lingual interfaces. In 2000 he led, as the chief architect, a global project to rebuild the Wall Street Journal publishing system for Dow Jones.

During the past 24 years, Marc has lead major projects, taught, mentored and consulted at the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM), US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), US Department of Labor (DOL), Aetna, American Red Cross, CareFirst BCBS, John Deere, WellPoint, Fannie Mae, GMAC Insurance, Weyerhaeuser and numerous other companies.

In the spring of 2013, Marc filed a patent for a proactive, real time solution to "Identity Theft and Fraud" and formed a company to bring the solution to the world: Identity Checkpoint. He has created a prototype which is demonstrated in several YouTube video clips and he is currently actively building the infrastructure necessary to bring his solution to a operational production state.

Marc currently also serves as the pro-bono CTO of the non-profit called ‘At Home – Chesapeake’ which is a member of the national “Village to Village Network”, and is the founder and Treasurer of the Cody St. John Foundation, which is the only non-profit organization providing medical education scholarships and avalanche training to Ski Patrols and Patrollers nationwide. When not pursuing his other dreams, he is both an avid skier and international traveling sail boat captain.
