Marc Samet

I received undergraduate and graduate training at Northwestern University and Northwestern University School of Medicine in neuroscience. My PhD in Pharmacology was awarded from the University of Kansas. After receiving graduate training I was awarded NIH and NIMH funding and joined the research faculty of the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at San Francisco with dual appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Pharmacy. I have participated in private equity transactions exceeding $300 Million and been involved in the formation of 4 biotechnology firms. I am presently the Chief Medical Officer of Neurotherics, LLC which is a privately held research company directed towards improving mood therapies.
