Marc Bednarczyk
Perhaps wishing to emulate the great patron saint of teachers Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, Mr. Mark Bednarczyk set out his life’s mission to be an educator with the greatest passion and genuine love for his craft. After obtaining not just one but two degrees from the University of Phoenix in Madison, Wisconsin, Marc went on to carve out his path in the field of teaching. His seven years of active service has all been with the Madison Metropolitan School District, which to this day has found Mr. Bednarczyk to be one versatile and highly-dedicated educator in all the various posts he has been given. Marc Bednarczyk’s first real experience of classroom teaching was at Crestwood Elementary School, where for six months starting January 2003, he handled 3rd Grade Social Sciences. Believing that the quality of education that a student gets depends largely on the teacher, Marc taught the subject while adhering to the National Council for the Social Studies Standards as set forth by the National Standards for Civics and Government. Joining Augusta Elementary to handle 6th Grade Language Arts was his next assignment. From August 2003 to June 2004, Mr. Bednarczyk taught Language Arts in accordance with what had been stipulated by the National Council of Teachers of English as the Standards for the English Language Arts. Thereafter, Marc Bednarczyk taught 7th and 8th Grade Social Sciences at Augusta Middle School, and then joined Carson Academy of Science in August 2007. Teaching 6th Grade Culture and Civics at Carson for three school years, Marc stayed true to his calling: to educate children in the noblest way possible so they might become future exemplary citizens of the nation.
